Ces deux traits repr�sentent deux r�gions distinctes nous retracerons d'abord celle du mont Atlas a laquelle l'usage commun des g�ographes a impos� le nom de Barbarie ou plus exactement Barbarie, d'apr�s celui que porte, du moins en arabe, la race indig�ne la plus ancienne.
