Lean Savior - Creation of a Servant Leader is the first in the series for one specific reason - THE LEADER MUST CHANGE FIRST!True Lean transformation requires a true transformation of everything that is being done as "the way we work" in your company. Anything less will certainly result in a failure to realize the maximum benefit of the lean tools and will rarely result in a culture of problem solving and continuous improvement. This story is a collision of fiction and reality. Although the exact settings are fictional and many of the names are created, the situations and back drops are based on real life circumstances that Brad and I have experienced in our careers. We encourage you to read them through the lens that some of these may be similar to your current story. Some of them may have been your former company or the one you will join shortly. Take it one step further and maybe your son or daughter was the one that had to live through the culture and actions of the leaders portrayed in this first book. I think we would all agree that we would never want our loved ones to endure the type of working culture we paint and we hope you take that food for thought and look internal to your current company. And make a change for the better if one is needed ..... it is certainly deserved by the people who you lead.We didn't write this series to retire early. We know we are not James Womack or John Maxwell or any of the others who can make a living off of their books. That is why we are offering this challenge to you.
