The author, through his journey, narrates his experiences with the implementation of the Lean production system, from what he learned in Japan, to the implantation in a highway with several interchanges project in Brazil.It demonstrates, in practical terms, the application of the TAKT (rhythm) principle in non-repetitive works, describing the step by step implementation to reach the adjusted pace of production and, at the end, launches the five approaches to the implantation of Lean Construction as an infallible method to achieve the reduction of time and costs in the construction.
