In the potteries making art and utility ware and in the tile fac tories poisoning was more common. Among the 304 men employed 63 cases of poisoning were found to have occurred in 1910 and 1911, of which 48 occurred in the latter year. Among the 243 women 35 cases were attributed to the two years, 28 of which had occurred in 1911.
