Undeterred, the evil networkers are skilled at using deception, disinformation, and bribery to get what they want, and they are not afraid to resort to violence to achieve their goals. The nemesis trying to eliminate anyone getting close to the truth is a charismatic, high-ranking, and well-respected figure within the Catholic Church with a reputation for being a pious and devoted leader. The Archbishop's chosen operative discovers a group of unlikely allies: a cynical physician, an angry journalist, and a traumatized survivor of a child trafficking ring. As the story unfolds, they encounter a labyrinth of subterfuge and danger, with twists and turns that keep them on their toes. The stakes are high, and the consequences of failure are dire.
