What happens to our youth? What happens to the events that make up our life? Do they still exist or are they gone forever? Are we guided by the events of our past lives or by our free will? I wanted to know. Perhaps by examining my life from that point of view, it might reveal the roles that destiny and free will played in my youth: a childhood, an urge to travel, a love story, a higher education, a spiritual teacher, a romance, the daily details of my life. The author, a retired research scientist in California, examines his life and finds that though, he could never have predicted how it would turn out, it turned out exactly as it had to.
