Medicinal plants are presented as an alternative source for herbal and medicinal purposes, thus contributing to the treatment of various diseases. From this context, it can be said that among the applications, the prominent actions of essential oils stand out, which are characterized as volatile substances rich in chemical constituents, among the species, Origanum vulgare, Schinus terebinthifolia and Pimenta dioica stand out with a high EO content. these species contain secondary metabolites, which confer capabilities for a broad spectrum of biological activities, such as ovicidal, larvicidal, adulticidal action, as well as toxicity. It should be noted that these biological activities serve as parameters for pilot toxicological tests such as cell therapy cancerous. In this way, through the mentioned arguments, the EOs Origanum vulgare, Schinus terebinthifolia and Pimenta dioica and their respective nanoemulsions present themselves as a promising alternative to Aedes Aegypti and Artemia Salina .
