In June of 1963, the Town of fuquay-varina contracted with the Division of Community Planning for technical assist ance in preparing and implementing a planning program dedi cated to the improvement of the community. The program was partially financed through an urban planning assistance grant from the Housing and Home Finance Agency of the u.s. Govern ment under the provisions of Section 701 of the Housing Act of 1954, as amended.
