Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Labor Bulletin of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts: April, 1907

In cotton goods, as has been stated, the value of product was diminished owing to the strike which unfortunately took place in the Census year 1905 and on account of which the mills, some thirty Or more in number in a Single city, were closed for a period extending over nearly three months.
