Quand le travail fut fini, au mois de mars de cette ann�e 1887, avant de livrer la capie � l'imprimerie, je demandai � M. Cholet de revenir me voir; et, d'un seul trait, je lui ai' relu tout l'ouvrage, la plume 51 la main, cor rigeant les quelques erreurs de d�tails qui avaient pu s'y glisser � mon insu. En sorte que je puis dire que, � part les notes au bas des pages, le livre ne renferme pas un seul avanc� qui ait pris naissance dans mon cer veau.
