Born as the last of the Anansi Twelve - a lineage fated with immense power - he's left orphaned, his parents taken by the sinister Shadow Master seeking to quell the prophecy: that Kofi could either be the world's salvation or its doom.
On his eighth birthday, like all wizards, Kofi awakens to his Legacy: the Maelstorm Curse. Each emotion that stirs within him holds the formidable power to conjure storms, casting both literal and metaphorical shadows upon the realm. The Shadow Master, in his attempt to thwart the prophecy, cast upon Kofi the Infernus Curse, the most nefarious of all magic known to the wizarding realm. A curse so potent, it devours its victim in eternal flames, transforming them into mere ashes. Astonishingly, Kofi emerges from this blaze not as remnants, but reborn - scarred with mutations, yet also graced with magical abilities unseen amongst the noble wizards.
