Publisher's Synopsis
The vision Jesus Christ showed to Apostle John in Revelation 5 is a vision of an event that started before time began in Genesis 1:3-5 to kick off Satan's appeal hearing.
That was the reason the lamb (who appeared in Revelation 5 and took the scroll from the one who sits on the throne in heaven) "looked as if it had been slain"-because the lamb had, indeed, been slain before time began in Genesis 1:3-5!
Lucifer's trampling of God's Eternal Word underfoot before time began (Isaiah 14:13-15) was the slaying of the Eternal Word of God (John 10:17-18); (Revelation 13:8 NIV) who separated from His body as Christ the Head (the Son of Man) and went up to His throne beside God in heaven (Revelation 12:5), and left His body (the church) behind on the earth (Revelation 12:6); (Romans 8:19-21 KJV) in the life realm of the earth (Revelation 12:16), to be used by God as an instrument to justly destroy Satan, death and the evil Satan brought into life in Satan's dubious use of the freewill God had given to all His creations.
That God was replacing with human beings, the angels whom Satan's evil had taken from God was first revealed by Eve in her testimony for God in Genesis 4:25, when she proclaimed that God had replaced for her with Seth, the righteous son, Abel, whom Cain had slain in his evil!
The good testimonies of Adam, Eve, the other nine patriarchs before and including Noah by the way they lived their lives; together with the good testimonies of all the righteous people of God on the earth through all human history by the way they lived their lives; constitute God's righteous rulership of the earth as commissioned by God! All the righteous are rulers, ruling with Christ in their righteous decisions and deeds on the earth (Revelation 5:10); (2 Timothy 2:12).
God had created all human beings to bear testimony for God against Satan and all wickedness (John 15:27).
God's creation events in Genesis 1 had all three members of the Divine Trinity represented: God the Father in Genesis 1:1, God the Holy Spirit in Genesis 1:2, and God the Son (the word of God-John 1:1-5) in Genesis 1:3. Confirm that for yourself in the passage below:
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day." (Genesis 1:1-5 NIV)
God's creation events started with God's ushering in of light in the person of His Son, the Christ, and concluded with God's creation of marriage and God's marrying of Eve to Adam to make them one flesh, in demonstration of what He intends to do with Christ and the church at the end of Satan's appeal hearing:
"Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. 8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God's holy people.) 9 Then the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!" And he added, "These are the true words of God." 10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant ..." (Revelation 19:7 NIV)
