Battling cancer is the biggest fight you will have in your life. Cancer affects you, your family and friends. "Keeping Hope Alive! Building Our Faith In Our Battle With Cancer" is a book I wrote as I fought Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I am a Lutheran pastor serving as a hospital chaplain. I have all the training to help people with cancer and end of life concerns. Now, I have experienced all the fears and doubt my patient's experienced. I wondered, with all my training and experience I have; my cancer scared the hell out of me. How do my patients cope without the knowledge I have? I wrote this book to help people build their faith and trust in God, to provide strategies to help people cope and to build their spiritual health.
