Publisher's Synopsis
In 2022 I was looking for a significant way to celebrate 20 years of selling books by Black authors. After a bit of self-searching and evaluation I realized books come from authors so, No authors, no books. Authors had to be at the heart of celebrating this milestone. I reached out over 100 authors I met and or sold their books since 2002 and in 200 words they had to say three things; What leads them to write, how they get their inspiration and how they are of benefit to their intended readers. I was so inspired by the authors response and two supportive friends that the whole process too exactly 3 months from start to book delivery from my printer.
