This book includes 50 Poems that have been inspired by Kabir. These poems are not set to be scholarly translation, rather they are unique creations written by Geiser in a way that simply adds a modern voice in interpreting Kabir's teachings. Kabir's name is connected to these poems in that each version was inspired directly by an early English translation of his work; and many references and lines from those translations remain in tact. Yet the reader should know that this book is meant for the "spiritual seeker" in support of personal contemplation and not meant for one seeking traditional studies of the historical Kabir. The offerings in this "Marketplace" are done so in the spirit of Kabir, who did himself evoke seeking a wisdom beyond the literal on the inward path toward Self-Knowledge.
