Publisher's Synopsis
Justin Maximilian is a simple, unpretentious guy who prefers to take things just one day at a time, but once he falls in love with Brenda, the woman who lives upstairs, Justin's world is tipped upside down and inside out. In addition to his job as a security guard at the mall, he helps to foil a burglary at the car crushing show and is given a puppy who he names Baby Sweet Cheeks. But after he is mugged, Justin's days of playing security guard are over as he becomes determined to find the muggers and bring them to justice. In the meantime, Justin's life becomes even more complicated when, as a part-time taxi driver, he delivers his namesake, little baby Maximilian. But will Justin receive the respect he rightfully deserves, and will he have the courage to take his relationship with Brenda to the next level?
