In fact, especially since after the Second World War, French readers have read Junger's works without any of the political reservations that have accompanied his reception in Germany through decades, though less frequently expressed recently. Previously unpublished interviews with Junger by French journalists complete the picture. Finally, in addition to the edition of Arnolt Bronnen's correspondence with Ernst and Gretha Junger during the National Socialist era, the volume includes a discussion of Junger's relationship to the New Right with Klaus Theweleit and Volker Weiss, among others.
