Excerpt from Juan del Encina en Leon
Según consta en el acta capitular que ha tiempo descubrió en el rico archivo de aquel venerando templo, el notable historiador y arqueólogo D. Juan López Castrillón, publicada por Barbieri en su Can cionero Musical y por nuestro Menéndez y Pe layo, en la Áníologia de Poetas líricos castella nos el día 14 de Marzo del año de 1519, el re verendo Sr. D. Antonio de Obregón, canónigo y procurador del poeta Juan del Encina, que por aquel entonces residía en la capital de Italia, después de haber presentado al Cabildo una bula de Su Santi dad, y de jurar que guardarialas instituciones, ca pítulos y buenos usos de la Iglesia, tomó posesión del Priorato en nombre de aquél.
