Publisher's Synopsis

Arachne Press has long been a champion of LGBTQ+ writers, but we've never before published an anthology of LGBTQ+ poetry. These are joyful poems that celebrate all that is best about our community/ies and lives. This is not an 'explain it to the straights' book, this is for us. LGBTQ+ readers can open this book at random and find a moment of poetic queer joy for themselves, however big or small.

Arachne Press

Arachne PressArachne Press is a micro publisher of exciting novels and short stories, poetry and selected non-fiction. We also keep fiction (poetry, non-fiction) live, through readings, workshops and all things to do with writing - we have started hosting art exhibitions and installations. Arachne Press is committed to showcasing talented writing and treating writers as they would wish to be treated, which includes paying them for their work, and making sure that their books look gorgeous! that relate to our books, occasionally we have live music at our events too. We are currently working towards Solstice Shorts a one day festival of short stories on 21st December, the shortest day of the year, to be held on the Greenwich Meridian.
