NO replenishment or rejuvenation is recommended for the No. 800 fixer. Electrolytic methods Of silver recovery are difficult to apply to neutral or alkaline fixing baths. It is recommended that the no. 800 fixer be used until a Silver concentration of about grams per liter is reached or the time Of clearing exceeds the total available fixing time. When this point is reached, the fixer solution should be re placed by a fresh bath. The used solution may be treated with sul fides to recover the Silver.
