Publisher's Synopsis
The Journal of Faculty Development, founded in 1983, is an independent, peer-reviewed journal published by New Forums Press. Issued three times yearly, it is a medium for the exchange of information regarding faculty development in post-secondary educational institutions. The Journal of Faculty Development invites a wide variety of manuscripts, ranging from research studies (using qualitative or quantitative methodologies) to those focused on theory and philosophy. Readership includes faculty members, administrators, and faculty development professionals at all levels of higher education, therefore we encourage contributors to focus on the implications of their investigations for scholars and practitioners in the field. The Journal of Faculty Development invites manuscripts related to issues in faculty development, professional development, higher education pedagogy, curriculum, leadership, program design and implementation, and evaluation and assessment. We welcome suggestions for thematic issues of the Journal of Faculty Development that address a single issue, problem, or theory.
