Durch ähnliche Operationen gelingt es die Coefficienten von fortzu schalten, so wie von allen anderen Functionen, welche bei der Bildung von J etwa noch benutzt sein sollten. Und so erhält man eine symbolische Dar stellung von J durch eine neue Invariante, welche sich auf eine grössere Anzahl von Functionen bezieht, welche für jede von diesen linear ist, und welche, sobald man dieselben gruppenweise in (p, ap, übergeben lässt, in J übergeht, multiplicirt mit einem numerischen Factor.
