Every one thousand years, God chooses two soul mates in heaven to be reborn on earth in order to test their love and faith through life's trials and tribulations. The rebirth is supposed to go as planned: each soul mate will continuously cross paths with one another on earth, yet no soul mate shall remember the other until fate unites them. However, as John walks past Sarah one day, he is flooded with memories and is reminded of whom she is, was and will be.
