What is a THREEEP?
A THREEEP is a fantastic character with three eyes, three ears, three fingers, three legs, and three toes. The THREEEP in this book-- Joey and the THREEEP-- can appear to be a bit odd, even scary, when you fi rst encounter him tucked away in his cave beneath the ground. Joey is an adventurous boy, playing, riding his wagon. But he lost control as he sped downhill, plowing through a garden before plunging into a deep, dark hole. He fell into the Threeep's Cavern and was saved only by landing on the creature's soft belly. They eyed each other and scared each other before trying to talk. The only light was from Threeep's nuclear lamp. Though they were remarkably different, they managed to become friends. But how was Joey going to get home?
