Newly graduated Dr. Jake Spencer is on a mysterious and mystical journey that takes him from Arkansas to Michigan to Nevada and ultimately to Las Cruces, New Mexico. On his intriguing journey, riding his new Harley motorcycle, he encounters various messengers who teach him lessons in character, such as kindness and patience. After learning each lesson, Jake is then enveloped by an ethereal light that transports him into a circumstance to test him.
This novella shares the progression of one young man who sets out on a typical vacation to rest after graduation and before starting his new job. Instead, he meets fascinating and engaging people along his journey who teach him much about character, from kindness to love, which changes Jake to his core being.
