The introduction, vocabulary and conversation of each lesson are however merely suggestive, and are not intended to replace the work of the teacher, who is indeed expected to enlarge on each as he thinks best.
Thus, this is not a grammar, nor composition book, nor indeed a vocabulary, of which there are already some excellent ones it is simply a guide to teachers and students, and I h0pe it may be found useful.
