Publisher's Synopsis
The Muslims, nay the whole world owe a great deal of appreciation to Prophet Muḥammad (S.A.W) for the guidance he brought from Allah. The divine guidance is contained in the Glorious Qur'an and the Sunnah, which refers to the deeds and practices of the Prophet (SAW), his practical application of the content of the Qur'an and the prophetic teachings. It is however sad that many among Muslims, rather than follow the Sunnah practices, treat them with disdain. The problem that such Muslims have with the Sunnah of the Prophet stem from two main factors namely: ignorance and laziness. This book is compiled with a view to addressing these two problems. While the book seeks to enlighten the ignorant Muslims about the various Islamic etiquettes and the benefits inherent in putting them to practice, it equally seeks to encourage the lazy ones. It limits itself to every action and deed, spiritual and mundane, a Muslim performs on a daily basis. For example, every Muslim is bound everyday to sleep, eat, drink, visit toilet, observe five obligatory prayers, wear cloth, greet one another, seek Ṣalawat (blessings) on the Prophet (ﷺ) etc. All these actions and deeds among others are to be performed in line with the best practice (Sunnah) of the Prophet (ﷺ) and the pious predecessors (Salafu's-Ṣaliḥ). In this regard, everyday activities become rewarding acts of worship if they are done in line with the dictates of the Prophet (ﷺ) and for the sake of pleasing Allah.
