Part IV treats East Africa with studies of Somalia and Nigeria. Part V covers the Caucasus as it is concerned with Azerbaijan, Dagestan, and Chechnya. Part VI concentrates on the Balkan with chapters on the Albanian world and Bosnia respectively.
