Publisher's Synopsis
An autobiographic sketch that reviews some of the characteristics of a dual career that spanned over fifty years, as an educator and a pastor. There were "many irons in the fire at any moment in time." Although this is not a full-scope autobiography, it does reveal selected episodes that tell about some issues a professor/administrator faces regarding educational testing, and the college experience for faculty, administrators, and students. It addresses issues that a pastor faces, when dealing with the obvious differences within Bible accounts of the same event. This book expresses a (Biblical)liberal perspective on Protestant Christianity. Finally, the question is examined, "What is an appropriate way for a professor emeritus/pastor emeritus to spend retirement years?"
