Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Investigation of the Aluminum Cell
The development of the aluminium cell has proceeded slowly for two reasons: the general distrust of electrochemical apparatus when replacing mechanical devices, and the fact that as yet very little is known regarding the cell. There is, how ever, a considerable demand for a device having some of the properties of the cell, and it is probable that in the future some further improvements may render it a valuable asset to the electrical industries.
