It is intended for both students and professionals.;The authors have endeavoured to refer to International Accounting Standards where this is appropriate. In each chapter, the introduction is followed by brief information regarding the Statement and its applicability, its accounting objective and the relevant definitions. The main section of each chapter sets out the requirements of the Statement and illustrates them in proper context, and the chapter closes with the relevant disclosure requirements.
