Criminology is the scientific study of the nature, extent, management, causes, control, consequences, and prevention of criminal behavior, both on the individual and social levels. The Introduction to Criminology Theories & Methods focuses on the vital core of criminological theory-theory, method, and criminal behavior. First chapter focuses on imaginative criminology and its significance. Second chapter makes a case for a critical criminology of education, one that takes a governance approach.
