Having served in the field of education for more than two and a half decades, she is a recipient of several awards for her work, which include FACULTY Award by AHLEI, Orlando, FL in the year 2006 & LCGI Award by City & Guilds, London in the year 2005. She is the only Indian lady who has represented at the G20 Japan summit as a presenter at the 3rd World Eatology Forum.
