Publisher's Synopsis

In November 2012, representatives of World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations (GAVI), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and Ministry of Health Mongolia conducted a review of the Solomon Island's Expanded Program on Immunization which marked the first program review in the country. The agencies confirmed high level of international commitment and support for the program, and identified a number of issues and recommendations which are highlighted in this report. The review focused primarily on operational analyses rather than on reporting or analyzing new data on coverage rates or other performance indicators.
