The author draws on all the student has learned in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and numerical methods to illustrate methods of analysis in a complex real world situation. The text presents cycle analysis with computer calculated thermodynamic properties instead of tables and charts. The book also includes a variety of challenging homework problems. Although most of the material is presented in SI units, units such as calorie, rpm and bar are also used.
