The Interactive Math Dictionary CD-ROM is a database of mathematical topics combining the functionality of a dictionary with the interactivity of a CD-ROM. Like a dictionary, students, teachers and scientists can explore over 4,000 math entries from A to Z. Unlike a dictionary, a lot of the terms are active so users can investigate the definitions by plotting, changing parameters. Then they see the mathematical definition in action! This computation and interactivity is provided by the build in of Maple, the powerful computer algebra program.
