In summary, we have shown that labor, to a great extent, is underpaid in our country. The underpaid workman stands as a perpetual indictment Of the hypocrisy of those who preach the brotherhood of Good and the brotherhood of Man. We have shown that the benefits of the minimum wage, such as we have proposed, far outweigh the disadvantages, that it is practical in application, and that it is just to all concerned. And finally it corrects and checks those conditions which if allowed to go unchecked will ultimately bring our nation to ruin.
