INTRODUCTION Intentionality and consciousness are the key concepts in Edmund Husserl's philosophy. Intentionality is the initial approach toward overcoming the uncritical application of traditionally defined realities such as the psychic, consciousness, continuity of lived experience, reason. The intentionality of an experience is a relation between the mental state of the experiencer and, in typical cases, some extra-mental thing, event, and state of affairs.
