It is generally well known that the ordinary blue print paper, after having received a Chemical impression by light in any pre scribed manner, is fixed and rendered permanent by simply wash ing in plenty of clean water, and is thereafter no longer affected by any further action of light. The charts of the photographic recorder wash out white, or nearly so, x marked by blue lines rep resenting the sunshine record.
