Index of European Constitutions 1850 to 2003

For the first time an index of all the constitutions of Europe, including federal and member states, from the period 1850 to the present, is now available. All current and historical constitutions including their amendments and draughts of constitutions that never came into force are covered. In addition, this volume serves to facilitate access to the microfiche edition Constitutions of the World 1850 to the Present, Part 1: Europe, presenting complete, full-text original documents. The constitutional documents, draughts and amendments for each individual country are arranged chronologically and both a general index and an index of member states are provided. A scholarly introduction by the editor, a users guide and a bibliography of sources complete the volume.
