In these troublous times when our Empire is engaged in deadly con?ict with what we believe to be a grasping foe, you may see some evidences of the enthusiastic patriotism of our citizens, and as our O'rder inculcates a veneration for the Government of the country it Will no doubt be pleasing to you to know that the members of our Order are not behind any other in their Whole hearted support in her hour of trial. I may go further and say that through the initiative Of this Grand Lodge last year we have been training men and women for the work of caring for those who need assistance, whether on the field of battle or in the pursuits of peace.
