Catalog of the exhibition held in Sesto Fiorentino from November 30 th, 2014 to January 18 th, 2015, the volume is a research on Central European Symbolist engraving through a large selection of works by the greatest German artist of this period: Max Klinger. To his graphics, full of symbolic and surreal suggestions, are added those of many artists who were inspired by his style and by his theories on the art of engraving. The volume is completed by a large collection of bookplates of the same period.
