In The Clearing Stands a Boxer is a poetry journal detailing five months of training to prepare for the Haymakers for Hope charity event at The House of Blues in Boston on May 16, 2013. Author/poet G.A. Cuddy, a resident of Charlestown (MA), invites readers to experience the emotions of his journey. Additionally, fellow boxers who participated offer their recollections and commentary. Part of the proceeds from sales will benefit The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through Haymakers for Hope.
