About Author: Thór Stefánsson was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, in 1949, author of 20 original poetry books, and translator of 18 volumes, several of which are anthologies of French speaking poets in Icelandic and Icelandic poets in French. Books by Thór are translated into French, Danish, Japanese and Arabic. Samples of his poetry can be found in about 30 languages. Thór tought French in Iceland and Icelandic in France and is the chief redactor of French-Icelandic dictionaries.
