The Underground Railroad was active in many places in the North. Michigan is well known for its role is that movement, especially, to Canada through Windsor. What is lesser known is the use of the Great Lakes for transporting escaped slaves. Join in this historical fiction account that links four known Abolitionist and their efforts to get the escaped slaves to Freedom. Freedom has a double meaning, for Freedom is a ghost-town in Northeast Michigan I believe was the terminus of an Underground Railroad route. Joint me in the adventure that tells this hidden story.
