This book brings a set of studies on children's learning, indicating the best ways to promote it. They focus on different settings: preschool, primary school and non-formal environments. Indeed, learning should not be confined to any particular setting; it may occur everywhere. It is also not confined to a specific age group; learning may occur at any age. Studies on children's well-being and health promotion and gender equity are also a relevant part of this book. Indeed, good health is a critical condition to support all other areas of the child's development. This book originated in the Conference EDULOG 2018, which was organized by the Research Centre on Child Studies (CIEC-UM), and was held at the Institute of Education of the University of Minho.
