This book is all about immigrating to Canada. It is written for prospective immigrants who are planning to make the big, life-changing move to the 'Land of Maple Leaf'. Many people look to North America, mainly the United States, for better opportunities for themselves and their families. In recent years however, there has been a steady increase in the number of people who are looking to Canada for their "big break" and a higher standard of living.Over the last two decades, Canada has proven to be more immigrant-oriented, mainly owing to shortages in skilled and unskilled labor across the country. With a growing demand for workers, the Federal Government in partnership with Provincial Governments, have implemented various pathways and immigration pilot programs to bring in foreign workers.
