Nearly three years later he was followed by his brother drowned while attempting to cross on horseback the ?oods of the Burdekin, in Queensland. The horse succeeded in reaching the Opposite bank the rider was submerged the mortal-he was never found. This wound, with its balm, is in the poem which stands third in The Victory of Immanuel.
