Publisher's Synopsis
Based on "Imaging Atlas of Human Anatomy" this CD-ROM is filled with images and information from the book using the full range of modern imaging processes to illustrate normal human anatomy. A representation of the body is used to navigate around the images allowing the user to go instantly to any body region. The user is then able to zoom in to each image for closer examination of detail. Images can be changed from positive to negative, a feature that may be useful for viewing x-rays of specific structures. Over 50 new images have been added to this 2.0 version, including additional views of the vasculature, a wider selection of views of the upper limb, high-resolution computed tomography of the chest and fetal ultrasound. Overall the illustrations reflect the improvements in quality of MRI, ultasound and CT images.
