Publisher's Synopsis
The story included a lot of emotions of suffering, melancholy, self-worth, and sacrifice, and it was narrated
in an engaging way. It demonstrated the woman's efforts, who, like most of the villagers, lived in poverty
but were nonetheless responsible for raising her children and had to sell her possessions to make ends meet.
She also remembered to help others, and this narrative also revealed the husband's depressing emotions at
not being able to have his wife wear gold like other women. This story, in my opinion, highlights the value
of compromise between spouses and the significance of accepting one another no matter what.
